My Permed Hair

After living with painstakingly rebonded/straightened hair for 18 years and not being able to go out of the house until every strand is dried perfectly in place, I realized with glee that permed hair is wash and wear. I can pop into the bathroom, pop back out, get ready in five minutes and run out of the house without worrying about having a massive mess on my head. With the time and energy I have been saving on not having to eletric fan-dry my hair and after discovering the joy of low (even non-) maintenance hair, I might just stay curly forever. I actually have curly hair (well in runs in the family) when I was little, but due to my frequent visits to the salon and have my hair straightened, my naturals curls are now gone. I remember that college days were the last time that had those kind of curls. My biggest joy now going out of the house in the morning with my hair just towel dryed and looking at it in the afternoon or evening to reveal still beautiful, perfect, sexy curls. Just how my dear hubby love it when we were still in college.
